Our Country House, restored according to the principles of bio-architecture, is a typical Umbrian farmhouse, situated just four meters from the banks of the Clitunno River. You enter the estate through a historic bridge over the Clitunno River dating back to the papal land reclamation period, as testified by the inscription on the keystone of the arch: AD 1775.

Country House Casco dell’Acqua is set within a 15-hectare estate between the towns of Trevi, Montefalco, and Foligno. It is a traditional farmhouse in the Umbrian countryside. The main building stands just four meters from the banks of the Clitunno River, which borders the entire property. The building dates back to the early 18th century and is believed to have originally been used as a tannery, expanded later, in the early 1930s. Distinctive features such as naturally painted and decorated walls using the encanto technique, terracotta floors treated with natural wax and solid oak furniture with essential lines define the character of the farmhouse. We recommend Country House Casco dell’Acqua to couples and families (the property includes a children’s playground surrounded by greenery and offers rental bikes). Its location is ideal for visiting some of the most beautiful towns of Umbria — Spello, Assisi, Spoleto, Bevagna, Montefalco, and many more — as well as its natural attractions.
