Country House Casco dell’Acqua offers you active holidays: cycling through the countryside, up and down the nearby gentle hills you will enjoy the wonders of our nature and reach wonderful little villages rich in history such as Bevagna, Montefalco, Trevi, Spello and Clitunno springs.

You can choose one of the following cycling paths:

Easy

1)Country House-Bevagna and back, ring road path 

Easy, lenght km 21, height difference uphill 150m,  suiteable also for families with children

Street: cycling lane and secondary streets, asphalt and stretches of white street

Path suitable for everyone,  who will discover the little village of  Bevagna, with its wonderful Roman ruins, medieval buildings and works of art.

2) Country House-Clitunno Springs return, same street

Easy, lenght km 24, height difference uphill 10m,  suitable also for families with children

Street: cycling lane and secondary streets, asphalt

Itinerary studied to discover the Clitunno Springs, a place famous for its waters, surrounded by a wonderful park.  

Medium

1)    Country House-Clitunno Springs-Spoleto

Medium-easy, lenght km 28, height difference uphill 150m,

Street: cycling lane and secondary streets, asphalt

Possibility of coming back by train (Foligno train station, route Spoleto-Foligno) ordoing the same itinerary the other way round; as an alternative you can take advantage of the services Gira l’Umbria and ask for the pick up of bikes and passengers Spoleto

Cycling path to Spoleto, a lovely little town with many interesting historic churches, ancient walls, palaces, museums and lots of interesting cultural events. Don’t miss the famous Tower Bridge of Spoleto.  

2)    Country House-Bevagna-Spello-Foligno-Country House, ring road path

Medium-easy, lenght km38, height difference uphill 250 m,

Steet: cycling path and secondary treets (both white and asphalt street)

A lovely bike tour, ideal to get to know the most beautiful villages of Umbria through secondary streets, fields and towers.  

Hard

1)    Country House-Fonti del Clitunno-Montefalco-Bevagna-Country House, ring road path

Hard, lenght  km 50, height difference uphill 550m, downhill 500m.

Street: cycling lane and secondary streets, asphalt.

From the countrysided to gentle hills, through fields, rivers, lovely little villages such as Montefalco, hometown of the famous Sagrantino wine and called “The Terrace over Umbria”. You will taste the best of Umbria cycling and cycling… absolutely worth trying!
